The XJ from Jaguar has had a reputation throughout the years as a prim and proper luxury vehicle with Old World styling. Previous models were a bit stuffy, old fashioned and not really that exciting, but the 2011 model is a whole different story. This updated version is sleek and modern looking. The new headlights and swooping lines give the car and elegant and almost cat-like look. The XJ is a luxury sedan and goes head to head with the best of the best including the Mercedes S-Class, the Mercedes CLS class, the 7- series from BMW and the LS460 from Lexus.

The standard Jaguar XJ starts at a price of $72,700 and gets an EPA estimated fuel mileage of 16 miles per gallon in the city and 23 on the highway. The supercharged version starts at a price of $87,700 and gets 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 on the highway. The Jaguar XJ Supersport starts at $113,200 and gets 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 on the highway.

The torque on this implementation is 461 foot pounds and the compression ratio is the same as the XJ Supercharged models. The engine in the XJ Supersport model propels the XJ to a maximum of 155 miles per hour.

2010 Jaguar XKR Car

Just one look at the Jaguar XKR – and you can understand, that Jaguar trade mark is in a full swing. Almost all its cars are well-thought, gorgeous, stylish and has no disadvantages, but for expensive price. But, who knows?

New Jaguar XKR takes care about driving, because it is well-balanced and seemed to be glued to the road while riding. As to the interior and exterior design: developed by a creative team, led by Ian Callum, seems like a sport car silhouette multiplied by elegance and muscles. This Jaguar can be proud of new comfortable sport car seats, also, it has an ‘R’ badge on the tachometer, gear selector and steering wheel. The exterior is made in a “weave pattern” design, and, of course, this car is: ecologically-friendly and made taking into consideration leading principles of ergonomics (simple and clear info display on the instrument panel).

2010 Jaguar XK | Automotive Wallpaper

The quintessentially British interior trappings are first-rate, and the ride is supple yet taut. Rear-seat space is a joke, but the rest of the XK is so nice that it can be forgiven. Exterior styling might be a bit too subtle for some, rear-seat space is extremely limited.
