Safety is an important aspect of the design of the BMW X3. Standard safety features include tractions control, anti-lock brakes on all four wheels, and the aforementioned all wheel drive system. The vehicle feature airbags for both the driver and front passenger, in addition to side and rear curtain airbags for all passengers. Standard equipment on this vehicle includes automatic climate control, keyless remote control, and an AM/FM stereo system with both CD player and MP3 capability. Whether for off-roading or luxury, the BMW X3 fits the bill on all counts.

The interior now boasts a new dashboard, multi-function steering wheel, new seats and better trim. According to BMW, it will be on par with the BMW 3 series and they also hope that the interior will not be criticized like the earlier model. Actually, BMW needs to buck up in the interiors of their cars. Two weeks ago I sat in an X1 and i was pretty appalled by the very noticeable lack of quality in the materials used.
