But one SUV that you do not hear much about is the Kia Sportage. Even though this SUV is not one of the best in the class, it is definitely worth a look depending on your tastes and budget.
The Kia Sportage starts out a very reasonable price of $16,000. Even though this is a stripped down model it is still a great buy. If you want the top of the line EX model you will have to pay approximately $22,000. But with the EX you get a V6 engine as well as four wheel drive. Two things that make the Kia Sportage very competitive at that price point.
From the outside the Kia Sportage has a nice look. It is not too boxy, and the hood slopes down at just the right angle. When you get inside the Kia Sportage you will notice that there is plenty of room for up to five passengers. The trunk area is also big enough to swallow plenty of luggage for a long trip.
